Florida Highlands Reserve - Luxury Villa on Golf Course close to Disney

03/12/2011 - Wow....what a great holiday. First two weeks in November. We had a great trip over & easily found our way to the Villa. Collection of keys outside of office hours was easy. On arrival at the villa we were all amazed, it was beautiful. Within minutes of being inside we all felt very much at home. The use of free telephone calls made booking golf tee times & other visits to attactions simple. The location was excellent, situated so not to far to get to all of the major Disney & Universal resorts, but far enough away to escape the crowds. We loved it that we could walk the short distance to the shops & Restraunts in the evenings. The worst part of our stay was having to leave, albeit with wonderful memories. Thankyou.

28/11/2011 - 11/10/2011 - stayed at the villa for 2 and a half weeks was amazing, it only rained once and that was during the night so it never really effected us. Loved sitting relaxing at the pool before and after visiting the parks and shops. Will be back very very soon as we didn't want to leave.

08/05/2010 - Our 3 families have just returned from yet another fantastic stay at this villa.The weather was great again and the villa as immaculate as it was the 1st time we used it.The pictures on the site really don't do it justice,its even better in 'real life'.Everthing you need is there.The only trouble we had was getting out of the pool,it was so relaxing.The villa is located on a private golf estate,about 10 - 15 mins away from Disney.We love the location here,its just perfect.We can not recommend this villa,and indeed Derek and Karen (the owners) highly enough,they will bend over backwards to help (as in our case when that volcano erupted and we were 'stranded' in their villa) .If you're thinking of booking a villa in Florida,trust me,you couldn't book a better villa,in such a great location and with such nice and totally helpfull owners! So book it now before we do.

13/04/2009 - Hi Derek. We just returned yesterday from our Florida trip. Everything worked out perfectly. The key was in the box. The house was in fantastic condition -- just as promised -- great space for 4 golfers -- Swimming pool clean and heated -- plenty of clean towels and linen -- tv s in every room -- telephone available for calls -- and most useful for booking golf times was the internet access available. The weather and the golf were great and we found that the cost of green fees for the golf and the cost of eating out was significantly less expensive than our last visit to Florida. Overall we had a marvellous trip and we will be planning to return to Florida and to 320 NHD in 2010. Many thanks. John Deasy.

29/05/2008 - Derek & Karen, Thank you for a wonderful villa - definate home from home. This villa is brilliant and has everything you could want. My husband and I have stayed in villas before also on Highlands Reserve and this villa is by far the best. The big hits apart from the fabulous pool are the high chair and the travel cot, these have been a god send for our one year old son Gabriel. Had these not been provided we would not have known what to do. We would recommemnd this villa to all at home and would definately like to come back and stay in the future.

Furnished, decorated and maintained to very high standards with standards of equipment and facilities exceeding our expectations the villa was everything we expected and more. Its location near SR27 makes for quick and easy access to/from all of the major nearby attractions.

Derek and Karen have struck the balance of providing a rental villa with all of the comforts of home with the benefit of a supportive management company who are friendly and accessible without being intrusive.

We can thoroughly recommend this villa and will hopefully be able to make a return visit to it before too long.

We enjoyed a fantastic happy family holiday at this superb villa from 27th May to 10th June 2006. The accommodation at this lovely spacious villa was quite exceptional. We can highly recommend this super villa to anyone who wants to have a lovely luxurious holiday home in such a peaceful location. The location of this villa which is within the Florida Highlands Reserve at Davenport is excellent.

When we go back to Florida (hopefully in 2 years time) we will definitely return to this same fantastic villa as we loved the place and felt at home the minute we stepped inside.

Finally we would like to thank Derek and Karen Patterson for allowing us to stay in their holiday home. We had an absolutely fantastic time during our stay and cannot wait to return!

03/05/2006 - From the moment we stepped in this beautiful villa we knew that we were in for the best vacation ever. That is exactly what happened. We didnt really know what to expect from the pictures that we saw on the website, but it was the total opposite. The pictures on this site dont even get close to showing the beauty that this villa contains. The rooms are spacious the pool is big enough for any family and the house is squeaky clean. We had stayed at other villas in orlando before but nothing even compares to this villa.
What would compliment a beautiful home like this more than a couple of great owners. Derek and Karen were more than helpful in everything that we needed and till this day we still are in contact with one another. They have treated us as if we were family and I would love to meet them in person one day so that I could congratulate them face to face on their beautiful villa.

The pictures do not do it justice, one of the best Holiday's our family has ever had.The kids loved the pool, as we had to fight them every night to get them out of it.
If you want a home from home near all the attractions that Florida has to offer then this is the one!
Derek and Karen were great and made everything just that wee bit easier, again l can't thank them enough for a great holiday, will hope to stay there again very soon.

EXCELLENT - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
This is the nicest villa we have ever stayed in and we have travelled a lot. Absolutely fantastic house, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, pure luxury and so relaxing. In fact the villa was so good, we spent the majority of the holiday there and only visited four theme parks in the three weeks!! Would go back in a minute. Cannot recommend it enough. We had three kids in our party aged 1, 4 & 7 years and they had a fantastic time. The pool is excellent (we were all in it from morning to night). The owners have thought of everything you could need especially for the kids including a cot, playpen and highchair but we would have been equally well catered for if on our own. The owners are lovely too. Two of the nicest people we have had the pleasure of dealing with and they could not help us enough, such a refreshing change!
The villa is in an excellent location, close enough to the parks but away from the hype, in beautiful well maintained surroundings. The golf course is perfect and there are supermarkets and shops within a 5 minute walk. Thank you for one of the best holidays we have had and we look forward to booking with you next year (if not before)!!

21/12/2004 - This a fabulous house in Highlands Reserve which made our holiday one of the best, and is a credit to the owner.The home is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing time. If you are a golfer you must try Highlands Reserve Golf Course just round the corner. We did the usual Disney ( very near and no problem getting there ) and because of Davenports central position we took off for Fort Myers on the Gulf of Mexico (take the 27 and then onto 17 South it's much quicker than the Interstate )
There we visited Sanibel Island, beautiful Bonita Bay (for the sunset) and Lovers Key (Pelicans and Dolphins ). For a shorter hop take the 27 and the Interstate 4 West to Clearwater near Tampa ( again beautiful beaches ) Also a 20 minute drive is the picture postcard town of Celebration. Having said all that we spent most of our time relaxing by the pool, watching the sun come up, then go down.
We will definitely return and have no reservations whatsoever in recommending this property to anyone wishing to visit Florida
